Contact 365 Shelter Dogs

The short version: You’re going to have to call me at 803 619 6808 and I’m usually quite busy so to spare you all from the insulting message “We are experiencing longer than usual wait times. We care about your business,” please just leave a message.

So, ok here’s what happened: Late last year the world’s leading web host offered 365 Shelter Dogs free web hosting for life as part of their ongoing efforts to support animal non-profits and advocacy groups.

Well, I’ll be, gosh, darn golly! What an honor to be recognized. And yay,  because  it costs me a small fortune to run 365 Shelter Dogs and any help is truly appreciated. Fast forward a few months and I finally have time to help them migrate 365 Shelter Dogs website to their servers. And all was well in this fairy land of corporate sponsorship for a brief couple of weeks, except the web hosting company broke my contact form security. I figured I’d fix that shortly.

I woke up to an email from the world’s largest hosting provider telling me they are going to shut down 365 Shelter Dogs web site for nonpayment on the free hosting for life they offered. So I promptly called them and they told me to ignore that message. So I did. 2 weeks later I woke up to this email: 365 Shelter Dogs account has been suspended for non-payment. They shuttered 365 Shelter Dogs entire website and extorted me for something that wasn’t even owed. Their customer service people shrugged.

Because I’m a big fan of redundancy, I still had all the files and databases at my own web hosting server so I rerouted DNS back to there. Now the Contact Form is still broken and I really don’t have time to diagnose and fix it. Thanks world’s largest hosting company- from a small non-profit bustin’ their *ss to save shelter dogs from certain death. Just what I always needed: more work.

To summarize: Call me, send a DM or let Alison Kirkconnell Photography handle it.
