So wow. I have a lot to say today. Firstly, this photo here: 375 Shelter Dogs Day 330.

This is one of I cannot recall exactly how many, maybe 35, at the time alleged fighting dogs now probably convicted or plead guilty. They were seized by authorities following an investigation.

These dogs are not easy to photograph. They don’t acknowledge humans and are not food driven.

Sometimes I joke about not all dogs being supermodels. It’s usually because I make a decision to stop photographing a dog to get through the whole list before time is up. It’s not them. It’s that there is no time. And an ok photo is better than no photo. Bring out the next dog please.

This is not that scenario. I spent at least 10-15 minutes with each of the alleged fighting dogs, probably now convinced or plead guilty. They just are so far removed from domestic dog behavior it’s almost inconceivable.
Anyway, here is one of them. She’s still a good girl. It’s not her fault humans failed her.

On another note, yesterday’s dog, a couple of recent dogs actually, is a prime example of what happens to HDR when processing while direct sunlight hits your monitor. It’s pretty egregious. It’s staying. I’m not fixing it.

Thanks for reading. Have a great day and please be safe.
